Thinking of AJLI Annual Conference. It is hosted every year (hence the term annual) by AJLI- the Association of Junior Leagues International. They have a great website http://www.ajli.org/ that has many resources for our members. Please take a second to check it out.
Conferences are important training opportunities for our membership.How do you get to go? Well, the Nominating and Placement Committee invites members to Area III and ODI (Organizational Development Institute) and delegates are presented and approved by the general membership for Annual Conference (last week in San Diego and next year in Atlanta)

What a great idea! If anyone has the opportunity to attend an AJLI conference they are wonderful and provide a lot of information and inspiration. Fall ODI is in Orlando....

I have greatly benefitted from the League trainings. I encourage anyone who would like to learn more about the League, Communication in general and Fundraising to let nominating know that you would be interested in learning more about conference opportunities. You will discover a lot that is beneficial to the League as well as to your life outside the League.
I think this blog is a fabulous idea!

I would also highly recommend going to an ODI or Annual conference. I have attended both and the energy level is supercharged! Also, last night at the Sunset Social, the group held a silent auction. Lamps from the Scot Shop were taken and jazzed up; painted, decorated, etc.... There will be some lamps at the Annual Dinner to bid on, so bring your checkbooks! The proceeds are earmarked for the Foundation!
Great Job, Felicia... getting this up and running! We are already putting what we learned at Annual Conference to work for JLCD. Thank you to the membership for sending us to Annual Conference. It may be hard to be away and make the arrangements for your family, but it is WELL WORTH IT! You will come back inspired, educated and energized. Mark it on your Nominating form or send someone on Nominating an e-mail that you would like to be considered for futre training conferences. And check the Blog often for more news, updates and pictures!
